The restricted word and exception
Under LP Act section 17A(1)(d), the Registrar must not register a name containing Temasek unless Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited, registration 197401143C, is a general partner of the limited partnership. A limited-partner interest alone is not the published exception.
Dates and earlier notification
S 847/2015 was made on 21 December 2015, first published on 31 December at noon and commenced on 3 January 2016. It cancels the earlier LP Restriction on Registration of Name Notification, N 1. This notice addresses the specific word, not all other name-approval criteria.
