Find the service and the correct VCC
The PDF illustrates the VCC BizFile interface, with screenshots showing 2021 system material; it is a guide to that interface rather than a statement that today’s screens are identical. Open www.vcc.bizfile.gov.sg and use Login for Business Users. From eServices, open Making Changes and select Change in Particulars of VCC Officer & Manager. Read the checklist and continue with Next. On the form, use Search and the filter icon to display available VCCs, then select the correct entity and its edit icon. These steps establish which VCC the filing concerns before changing personal information.
Select the officer and eligible fields
Open Particulars of VCC Officers and select the officer’s name. For Singapore citizens and permanent residents, the guide permits changing mobile contact number, email and alternate address where applicable. For officers of other nationalities, it also lists name, identification type, identification number, nationality or citizenship and foreign address, alongside mobile, email and applicable alternate address. The guide describes these fields for this filing; it does not state that a citizen’s identity details can be changed through the same screen merely because foreign-officer fields are shown.
Mark each change and supply its effective date
Tick the checkbox for every item to be updated, enter the new information and its effective date. At least one change type must be selected: an empty form cannot be submitted. Entering information without selecting its checkbox does not update that item. Missing mandatory fields or invalid input, including information unchanged from the existing record, prevent continuation. The mobile example shows a country or region code, phone number and effective date; its sample personal data are illustrations, not entries to copy into an actual filing.
Update the manager’s principal business address
Continue with Next or the Address of VCC’s Manager tab. Tick the checkbox to reveal the manager’s principal-place-of-business address fields. Enter the new address and effective date, then continue. The screenshot shows postal code, block or house number, street, building or estate, level and unit fields. This is the manager’s principal business address, not an instruction to substitute the VCC’s registered office or every officer’s residential address. The guide does not provide a separate statutory notification deadline.
Review the declaration and preview before submitting
The screenshots include a declaration that the information is true and correct to the filer’s knowledge and draw attention to liability for false particulars. Continue to the preview and check the entity, individual particulars, selected changes, address and declaration. Submit only after verification, or use Save as Draft if the filing is not ready. A draft is a saved work-in-progress, not the submission shown by the following confirmation screen. The guide then shows redirection to transaction confirmation.
Complete applicable payment and keep evidence
If the transaction involves payment, including penalties, select Make Payment. After payment the acknowledgement page provides Print and View Receipt options. The illustrated transaction includes a nil filing line and a S$50 late-lodgement penalty; this is an example, not a universal fee or penalty schedule. Use the actual transaction’s displayed amount rather than applying the sample to every change. Keep the acknowledgement and receipt with the filing record; the PDF does not describe any additional payment methods or review period.
