Foreign corporate entity registration application
New item 2A prescribes S$1,000 for a foreign corporate entity’s application to be registered under section 358(2)(b)(iv). This is the specific application identified by the statute, not the general S$300 local incorporation fee or every foreign-branch transaction.
More time to submit foreign deregistration evidence
New item 7A sets S$200 for an extension application to submit evidence that the entity has been deregistered in its original place of incorporation under section 359(7). The fee concerns an application for more time, not permission to omit deregistration evidence altogether.
The additional charge-lodgement entry
The amendment inserts paragraph (g) into item 10’s second column, covering a statement of charge particulars required under section 363(1). Because this PDF does not reproduce item 10’s amount, a numeric charge-filing fee should not be guessed from this amendment alone.
Commencement and historical scope
The amendment was made on 6 October 2017, published on 10 October as S 580/2017 and took effect on 11 October. It amends the 2015 fee and late-lodgement regulations; its title does not mean it introduces a new late-penalty amount in the clauses shown here.
