The provision amended
S 117/2017 inserts paragraph (ba) after regulation 36(1)(b) of the Companies (Filing of Documents) Regulations. The added information concerns where the registers are kept; the short amendment does not itself reproduce all the surrounding regulation 36 filing requirements.
Two separate location statements
For the controller register, state whether it is at the company’s registered office or the registered office of a registered filing agent appointed to keep it. Make the same separate statement for the nominee-director register. Naming an agent without its role in keeping the relevant register does not reproduce the wording.
Dates and source scope
Made and published on 30 March 2017 under section 411, the amendment came into operation on 31 March 2017. It is a dated amendment instrument, not a complete current register-filing guide or a central-register deadline notice.
