The statement required by regulation 15B
For the declaration under section 24(1), and for purposes of section 24(1A), the LLP must state whether its register of controllers is kept at its own registered office or at the registered office of a registered filing agent appointed to keep that register. The agent must have been appointed for that purpose; the text is not a general permission to name any adviser’s office.
A separate schedule amendment
Item 7 of the First Schedule removes the words referring to solvency or insolvency. The amendment changes that item’s description; it does not reproduce the complete fee schedule or prescribe a new dollar amount.
Dates and limited scope
S 121/2017 was made and published on 30 March 2017, under section 56 of the LLP Act, and commenced on 31 March 2017. It inserts regulation 15B after regulation 15A. This short source concerns annual-declaration content, not the complete controller identification and updating regime.
