Act and general commencement
The Statutes (Miscellaneous Amendments) (No. 2) Act 2014 comes into operation on 1 July 2015 subject to the exclusions below. The notification uses the amendment Act’s section numbers, rather than numbering every amended parent Act provision.
Complete excluded list
Excluded are sections 2; 8; 10(a)–(i), (q)–(u), (w)–(zc); 11(a)–(p), (r)–(v); 14(za), (ze), (zf); 15; 16; and 17(h). The notification does not itself set these excluded provisions’ later commencement dates.
Notification identity
Made and first published on 29 June 2015 at 5 pm under section 1 of Act 35 of 2014, S 397/2015 is a timing instrument. It does not reproduce the underlying policy changes, fees or filing process.
