VCC Transfer of Registration: Applying for More Time to Submit Deregistration Evidence

The five-page guide, last updated on 15 October 2021, explains the VCC portal workflow for requesting extra time to submit a deregistration document following a transfer of registration, including payment and the completed dashboard record.

Scope and version of the guide

The transaction concerns extra time to submit a deregistration document for a transfer of registration. It is not the transfer-of-registration application itself. The PDF is a dated portal walkthrough and does not state an automatic extension entitlement, a fixed permitted extension period or the application fee amount.

Access the correct VCC service

The guide directs a business user to www.vcc.bizfile.gov.sg and the business-user login. After signing in, use eServices, then Starting, and select the extension transaction for submission of the deregistration document. Read the checklist and proceed to the form.

Select the VCC and review the declaration

Use the search control in the form to locate the VCC, select the appropriate entity and continue. Read the declaration before moving to the confirmation stage. The source screenshots show the entity-selection sequence; selecting a VCC is distinct from completing the declaration.

Confirmation and payment complete the transaction

Check the information on the confirmation page and use the finish control. Then select the payment action to complete the transaction. The guide places payment after confirmation, so retaining a preview alone is not the same as obtaining the final acknowledgement.

Retain the acknowledgement and receipt

After payment, the acknowledgement page provides separate controls to print the page and view the receipt. The transaction is then created on the dashboard with a completed status. Preserve those records as evidence of the filing workflow. A completed dashboard transaction should not be described as a separate approval letter unless the actual outcome says so.
