How to use the SOL

SOL roles can earn COMPASS C5 Skills Bonus points. ICT roles can also support a five-year Singapore EP where the additional requirements are met. The candidate must perform the listed duties, meet the role-specific requirements and select an eligible job title in the Singapore EP application. Unless exempt from FCF advertising, the title must match the MyCareersFuture advertisement. Upload qualifications in the qualification section, select relevant experience in the work-experience section and upload registration proof in the agency-support question where required.

Version, selection and review cycle

The list released in November 2025 applies to new and renewal applications from 1 January 2026; SAT was updated from 1 December 2025. MOM and MTI develop the SOL with sector agencies and tripartite partners, considering economic importance, the nature and extent of shortages and commitments to build a local talent pipeline. Roles can be added or removed annually, with a full review every three years. Changes do not invalidate existing Singapore EPs. A candidate need not always work in the sector named in the list; the specific role conditions decide this. Contact the supporting agency for feedback.

Reading the title and experience tables

The tables retain official English job titles so an employer can identify the correct application-form entry. A minimum three years means total relevant experience, and the qualifying experience list may differ from the job-title list. Where an agency checks the employer directly, the page says no extra employer documentation is needed for that check; this does not remove other application evidence requirements.

Alternative protein food application scientist

Develop alternative-protein foods using processes such as fermentation and extrusion; assess raw ingredients, flavours, fats and protein functionality; formulate recipes for taste and texture; conduct sensory/consumer studies and evaluate processing technologies.

The employer must operate in Agritech; MOM checks this with EDB and EnterpriseSG directly, without extra documentation for that check. New entrants may contact those agencies. The candidate needs either a bachelor’s degree in bioengineering, biomedical sciences, biomolecular engineering, chemical engineering, food engineering, food science or nutrition, or at least three years in an accepted experience role. Novel food biotechnologist

Design and optimise fermentation or cell-culture production of proteins, lipids and nutrients; improve yield and quality; purify, concentrate or dry outputs for food applications; validate laboratory findings and improve production cost and methods.

The candidate needs either a bachelor’s degree in bioengineering, biomedical sciences, biomolecular engineering, chemical engineering, food engineering, food science or nutrition, or at least three years in an accepted experience role. Investment adviser for high-net-worth clients

Advise on whole-portfolio construction and asset allocation; prepare tailored proposals, analysis, reviews and aftersales support for high-net-worth/family-office clients and relationship managers, including philanthropy. Assess risk appetite, objectives and suitability, and educate sales staff on solutions.

The employer must be a Singapore-licensed financial institution with a private-banking business. MOM checks this directly with MAS without additional documentation for that check; institutions can contact MAS for clarification. The candidate needs at least three total years in the corresponding investment-adviser, relationship-manager or wealth-planner role for high-net-worth, family-office or philanthropy clients. Relationship manager for high-net-worth clients

Understand clients’ needs across generations and jurisdictions, including philanthropy; collaborate with investment teams on tailored advice; build long-term relationships and monitor investment strategy and portfolio quality.

The employer must be a Singapore-licensed financial institution with a private-banking business. MOM checks this directly with MAS without additional documentation for that check; institutions can contact MAS for clarification. The candidate needs at least three total years in the corresponding investment-adviser, relationship-manager or wealth-planner role for high-net-worth, family-office or philanthropy clients. Wealth planner for high-net-worth clients

Develop trust, tax, estate, family-office and insurance solutions, including philanthropy. Apply country-specific political, tax and economic developments within bank standards; support relationship managers with structures, presentations and asset-transfer advice, and train them in wealth planning.

The employer must be a Singapore-licensed financial institution with a private-banking business. MOM checks this directly with MAS without additional documentation for that check; institutions can contact MAS for clarification. The candidate needs at least three total years in the corresponding investment-adviser, relationship-manager or wealth-planner role for high-net-worth, family-office or philanthropy clients. Carbon project or programme manager

Combine technical and project-management skills to register carbon projects and enable credit issuance. Apply international carbon-market rules, offset standards and technology/nature-based solutions, including Asian and Southeast Asian project-development contexts.

Carbon standards and methodology analyst

Design credible project-assessment frameworks and templates for credit issuance, including standards such as Gold Standard and Verified Carbon Standard. Cover nature-based and technology-based projects, international rules and Asian/Southeast Asian development conditions.

Carbon trader

Trade or broker credits, originate and structure deals and connect buyers and sellers. Analyse credit type, region, co-benefits and mechanisms, quality frameworks, OTC/exchange price drivers, Paris Agreement Article 6 and evolving national or regional compliance schemes.

At least three total years in carbon markets or carbon-credit-related work and a degree-equivalent qualification that scores 10 C2 points are both required. EnterpriseSG assesses qualifying applications and may request the employer’s business profile and carbon-trading details.

Carbon verification and audit specialist

Check whether projects meet credit-issuance requirements. Use site visits, geospatial/satellite data, impact indicators and emissions-measurement technology to test claimed reductions; apply greenhouse-gas rules and climate-governance knowledge.

Clinical psychologist

Assess mental-health and social needs and provide psychological treatment, including cognitive behavioural therapy, across age groups in hospitals and community settings.

A master’s degree in clinical psychology is required. MOH assesses every application and may contact the employer for further information.

Diagnostic radiographer

Plan, prepare and perform diagnostic imaging and post-processing using X-rays, MRI and ultrasound equipment and techniques.

Registration with MOH’s Allied Health Professions Council is required. MOH is the supporting agency.

Medical social worker

Provide psychosocial help to patients and families, financial counselling and care coordination to navigate healthcare services.

At least a bachelor’s degree in social work or a bachelor of arts majoring in social work is required. Supporting agency: MOH.

Occupational therapist

Help people affected by physical, cognitive, developmental, social or emotional conditions regain basic abilities and return to daily life, work, education and community participation.

Registration with MOH’s Allied Health Professions Council is required. MOH is the supporting agency.

Physiotherapist

Assess and deliver rehabilitation to restore movement, relieve pain and address injury, disease or impairment through exercise, manual treatment, electrical modalities, technology and assistive devices.

Registration with MOH’s Allied Health Professions Council is required. MOH is the supporting agency.

Podiatrist

Diagnose and treat lower-limb bone/joint, neurological and circulation problems; assess musculoskeletal function and gait, prescribe orthoses, advise on footwear and treat ingrown or painful nails, including nail-avulsion surgery.

At least a bachelor’s degree in podiatry is required. Supporting agency: MOH.

Registered nurse

Use evidence-based nursing knowledge and professional judgement to assess needs, provide care and education and help people manage health holistically. Work with other healthcare professionals in clinical contexts appropriate to training and experience.

Registration with MOH’s Singapore Nursing Board is required. Supporting agency: MOH.

AI engineer

Build scalable AI/ML models and algorithms for extracting, transforming and loading large real-time unstructured datasets. Deploy theoretical models, test performance and resolve bugs, using statistics, programming and the relevant deployment platforms.

Marine technical superintendent

Manage fleet engineering, maintenance, repairs, surveys and certification, dry-docking and conversions; control cost and ensure compliance with factory, class and charterer requirements.

Semiconductor engineer
