Quick answer
An appeal needs new information addressing the rejection reasons; repeating the original documents is unlikely to resolve them. MOM requires an appeal within three months of rejection, submitted by the original employer or authorised third party.

What to check
| Item | Check or action |
|---|---|
| 拒绝原因 / Rejection reason | Understand the stated issue first |
| 新信息 / New information | Explain how a change addresses the issue |
| 决定 / Decision | Resolve the issue before reassessing without new evidence |
Deciding whether to appeal
Read the rejection advisory in Singapore EP eService or the letter for a manual application. Appeal only if the reasons can be addressed with new information; SAT helps assess eligibility. Submit within three months of rejection, otherwise a fresh application is required. Only the employer or authorised third party that originally submitted can enquire or appeal; candidates or other people cannot.
Submission and targeted evidence
Appeal in Singapore EP eService. Add documents and remarks only when required, because unnecessary material can delay review. No support or remarks are needed where qualifying salary/COMPASS are now met or outstanding problems are resolved, including qualification/verification inconsistencies, advertising or IRAS tax issues. If MOM emails a further request, use its online form.
Status and time
Use Singapore EP eService to track and print the outcome. MOM states 85% of appeals are processed within six weeks; that proportion is not a promise for every case.
