Property-Tax Exemption Application: Owner, Occupier, Uses and Rental Fields

The complete archived section 6(6) form, including floor-area, tenancy and carpark tables.

Source checked · 11 October 2026

The archived application form

This is an archived application under section 6(6) of the Property Tax Act, estimated to take fifteen to twenty minutes. It identifies tax reference number, property address and development name. Its printed named contact and email are historical form details, not verified current submission instructions. A completed application is not an exemption approval.

Owner and occupier separately

For both owner and occupier give UEN, ROC or NRIC, name, and whether the entity has registered or exempt charity status with the Commissioner of Charities. Attach its constitution, articles of faith or memorandum, or indicate that none is held. Separately answer whether rent is collected from the occupier. Charity status and ownership/occupation cannot be assumed identical.

Approved use, actual use and floor areas

State approved use under the Master Plan, URA written permission or other relevant authority, then describe actual specific uses such as prayer hall, ancillary office, classrooms, kindergarten or columbarium. Give individual floor areas for kindergarten, childcare, columbarium, ancestral tablets, funeral parlour, owner-operated shops, staff quarters and clubhouse. Attach a plan showing uses and areas where available, or mark that no plan is held.

Every tenancy-table field

Disclose all rented or licensed spaces, including base stations and ATMs, and future rent already contracted. For each list storey/unit, area let in square metres, monthly net rent, service charge, other charges and variable rent, lease start and end dates, use and tenant name. The footnote requires variable rent based on turnover for 1 January–31 December of the preceding year, a different measure from simply stating the current month’s payment.

Carpark details and declaration

Indicate whether any parking lots are chargeable. For cars and motorcycles separately, give total lots, chargeable lots, monthly season-parking fee per lot, annual gross receipts, annual carpark expenses and remarks. The owner or authorised person signs, providing name/designation, phone, email and date, declaring completeness and accuracy. The form warns incorrect or false information may attract applicable fines or imprisonment and says IRAS may seek clarification from the authorised person.
