No. Both the NTS sub-quota and the sector’s overall dependency ratio ceiling apply. MOM’s FAQ gives overall ceilings of 60% for manufacturing and 35% for services. Check the current workforce profile in WP Online.
Can the salary be below S$2,000?
No. The fixed monthly salary minimum applies to all NTS OL Work Permit holders.
Can a worker change occupation?
The new job must be on the list and satisfy the current criteria. Submit a request through WP Online before changing the occupation. Food processing and food services licensing conditions must not be used interchangeably.
